Slippery conditions are made safer with Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and 4 wheel disc brakes (standard on SX 1.6L model).
Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack#. For even more protection the Getz SX 1.6L is available with the Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack as an optional extra. The pack includes Bosch’s cutting edge stability system – Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Traction Control System (TCS). Another feature of the Getz Protectz enhanced safety pack is front side (thorax and head) airbags, giving added protection to the driver and front passenger in the event of a side impact. Interior
Air conditioning with pollen fi lter. With easy to use dials and buttons, the air conditioning features pollen fi ltration which allows you to breathe easy.
Steering wheel audio remote controls. Safely and effortlessly change the volume of your MP3 / WMA / CD player and FM / AM tuner as you drive. With 6 speakers and 45 W per channel, including front tweeters, you’ll have a blast.
Vanity mirrors and ticket holder. The driver and front passenger has the convenience of a sunvisor which features a ticket holder and vanity mirror with cover.
Sunglasses holder (SX). With the driver side fold down sunglasses holder, keep your sunglasses close at hand and away from scratches.
Cup holders. Two front cup holders and one rear cup holder help you to hold your drinks securely in place.
Centre console storage. Your mobile and other bits and bobs will fi t into the centre console storage slot.
Storage compartments. Getz offers many useful spaces for driver comfort such as the storage compartment under the steering wheel, map pockets in the doors and small spots to put your loose coins.
Connectivity. Getz audio system features Bluetooth® allowing you to stream music from your compatible mobile phone or media device. It also enables hands free phone calls, storing 78 contacts which appear on the display when an incoming call is received.

Exterior
Power windows and mirrors. Vehicle locking and window controls are located on the driver’s door armrest, which gives the driver added control over occupant safety and comfort.
Power steering. Park in that tight spot with ease. Getz has minimised steering effort via electronically assisted rack and pinion power steering. With column tilt adjustment, you'll remain firmly in control.

Engineering & Safety
16 Valve twin overhead cam engine. Getz S features a 1.4 L engine with 70 kW of power and 124.5 Nm of torque whilst the Getz SX includes a 1.6 L engine with 78 kW of power and 144 Nm of torque.
Keyless entry with alarm. When your arms are full of shopping, sports equipment or luggage and you need to open a door, the remote control keyless door lock operation makes life a breeze.
Enhanced safety. Drive at ease knowing your Getz has an array of advanced safety features to provide avoidance and protection from dangerous situations. Key features include availability of ESP stability control, ABS and up to four airbags.*
